Livingston Farms in Fletcher, NC is a large community developed by Windsor Aughtry. There are about 500 homes in this quaint community located between Asheville and Hendersonville. The homes in this subdivision have open floor plans, two car garages, and spacious rooms. Livingston Farms is comprised of one story, one story with loft, and two story homes.

There are a few different sub-communities in Livingston Farms all with their own individual characteristics. Many people who buy these homes customize them to their liking. Fletcher, North Carolina homes are becoming much more desirable as the outskirts of Asheville continue to rise. Because these homes are outside the Asheville city limits, they qualify for USDA financing; meaning you can purchase these homes with $0 down!

The town of Fletcher has a lot of amenities and of course Asheville is only a short drive away. Fletcher has the feel of being more rural but very close to town. Living in Fletcher on the Henderson County side also has its perks compared to living on the Buncombe County side. Henderson County has been known to charge less county taxes than Buncombe County and being outside the city limits, you save on city taxes as well. The town of Fletcher, however, does charge its own taxes but they are definitely less expensive than living in the city of Asheville in a similar home.

The homeowners association in Livingston Farms covers a few things, which keeps costs low and affordable for the homeowners as well as protecting their investment at the same time. The homeowners association currently covers the common area maintenance as well as the streetlights. It is the homeowner’s responsibility to cover their own yard maintenance, which isn’t always the case in other Windsor Aughtry communities.
